The day of Love

The day of Love

Every year has its own special days that we look forward to. These are typically birthdays, Christmas, Easter …, for many the first kiss, the first date or ones kids’ birthday and so on. From an astrosophical point of view, one of these special days is the day of Love. This is the day when Venus and Mars meet each other and are in close conjunction in the sky. (It is just icing on the cake if this happens not just once, but even twice a year. Afterall, Venus is about three times as fast as Mars.)

This year, this date :o) will be on July 13 in the Leo star constellation. The capabilities, abilities and force of Leo are not only amazing in the physical world but also in the heavenly world as well – he sees the past and therefor is able to learn from past mistakes. With his loving creating force, he can create a secure and happy life.

If we are talking about Venus and Mars together, then we often picture just the Woman and the Man. Yet the energy of Venus and Mars is much deeper and more colorful :o)) Venus communicates – I am creative, inventive and productive. I am a creator and I do my job in an artistic way. Harmony, peace and balance reside within me and I live love. Mars highlights – I am a straight-forward person. I am eager, energetic and courageous. Movement is a part of my life. I turn consciously toward the world, and I provide my environment with an uplifting force.

But what happens if these two forces have a date in the Leo star constellation? It is worth searching for and finding love not only in our Partner, but first of all within ourselves. This is the creating force with which we no longer contemplate about the past and our failures, but learning from them, we create the desired future in the present. One of the best ways to do this is if we don’t talk about “what would have been…” anymore. What’s done is done. Instead, it is worth creating that picture within ourselves of what we would like to experience, strengthening it and start talking about it in the present time as if it has already actually happened. If we are capable of this, then the love that we create in our own lives will bring with it that Partner too with whom we can not only live this life but enjoy it as well :o) <3 As the often-mentioned Hermes Trismegistus says: “As above, so below, as within, so without!”

The force of Love is infinite and its creating force is unparalleled. :o))

With this beautiful opportunity and the lovely words of Elisabeth Barret Browning “How Do I Love Thee? (Sonnet 43)”, I would like to wish you all a wonderful summer break!

How do I love thee? Let me count the ways.

I love thee to the depth and breadth and height

My soul can reach, when feeling out of sight

For the ends of being and ideal grace.

I love thee to the level of every day's

Most quiet need, by sun and candle-light.

I love thee freely, as men strive for right.

I love thee purely, as they turn from praise.

I love thee with the passion put to use

In my old griefs, and with my childhood's faith.

I love thee with a love I seemed to lose

With my lost saints. I love thee with the breath,

Smiles, tears, of all my life; and, if God choose,

I shall but love thee better after death.

See you all in August!

PS.: For those of you who already have an astroscope (ancient horoscope), it is worth paying attention to those areas and aspects that are affected by Venus and Mars, because their energies can be raised more easily from now on.
